Unofficial reference · 14 CFR Part 67 / AME Guide
Unofficial preview of published FAA medical-certification pathways
Not the FAA. Not a doctor. Not a medical certificate.
Certificate context
Choose the class you may seek. This is context for reading published material, not a screening score.
Part 67 Subpart B
First-class
Airline transport context. Strictest vision, hearing, and cardiovascular monitoring rules of the three classes.
Part 67 Subpart C
Second-class
Commercial operations context. Published pathways still have to be read against the class sought.
Part 67 Subpart D
Third-class
Student, private, and recreational context. Not a prediction of any individual certificate.
14 CFR Part 68
BasicMed
Not a Part 67 medical certificate. Some special-issuance histories still constrain BasicMed.
For airmen

Disposition Bench
Look up published Guide dispositions, document checklists, and draft Block 60 fragments. Designation and AMCS remain authoritative.
Open reference bench
- Session-only. Scenarios are not stored after you close the tab.
- Maps current public Part 67 / AME Guide material to scenarios.
- Shows possible certification consequences if a condition or medication is disclosed.
- Updated against the FAA’s published Guide cycle (body of knowledge stamped).
This is not a way to avoid an AME. It is a way to arrive prepared and honest. Preview assumes disclosure.
